William Swift - Joan SissonAmong the early settlers of Sandwich, Mass. although not among the very first, was William Swift and his wife Joan. Their descendants upon the Cape have been numerous and influential. They seem to have possessed holding in that part of Sandwich town known as Scussett, and their children were: William, Hannah, Esther, James, Elizabeth and Edward.
